Strategy

Identifying the problem

Before being able to confront a problem, its existence needs to be identified. At Miyagi, we believe that to be able to identify the problem accurately, one needs to understand the client and its desires. This will eventually lead to a better representation of the actual problem and therefore a better solution. Once the problem has been identified, the problem will be structured into smaller sub-components along with their relations, which results in a clear and manageable overview of the entire problem.

Solution

Solving the problem

Solving a problem can be done in many different ways, where one solution is maybe smarter than the other. Miyagi believes that the best solution to a problem is one that is as simple as possible, explainable, and creates the highest amount of value. By combining these three factors as the guideline during solving these issues, the end-product will be of the highest quality while still being understandable and implementable.

Interfacing

Providing an interface

Although the solution of the problem is an important factor of the end-product, the solution is of no use if no one understands how the solution is created. By providing an interface that incorporates the solution, which also is visually appealing and user-friendly, the end-product will be one that users would love to utilize and interact with.

Analysis

Gain insights through data

In a world where data equals power, having insight into data and the performance of the product is the key to maintaining a sustainable product. Through the analysis of the data, the product-owner might find insights that are not visible to the human eye. These insights might lead to decisions that will be beneficial on a short-term and long-term basis.
