Needless to say: the fashion industry is all about appearance. Denim City tasked Miyagi with translating their offline style to an international digital platform to increase their online presence.

Solution

Mobile first development

To ensure that Denim City’s style is uniform over all possible browsers and screen sizes, we adhered to a mobile first design philosophy. Instead of working the other way around we started with a mobile screen for the initial styling and layout drafts.

Interfacing

Responsive web platform

To achieve the same online style for Denim City we developed mobile first. The platform is fully responsive and thus can be visited on the computer and the mobile phone.  To achieve this responsiveness we drafted the layout and design options for mobile devices.

Analysis

Conversion metrics

To gain insights on the user friendliness and conversion of the platform, Google Analytics was added. Key metrics for everything from page views to visitor demographics can be tracked.
